Born in Nevers, France, I grew up in Lesquin and Eaubonne, and lived in Paris before moving to the States. I began studying piano at eight, discovered the bass at thirteen, and never looked back. Classically trained on the double bass, I performed with classical orchestras for some time—but the bass guitar has always been my true passion. I have also played sousaphone in the Army and taught bass to the new recruits.
In Paris, I worked on recording sessions and appeared on TV and radio before moving into radio production and eventually going on air as a radio personality.
I moved to the United States in 1984 and have loved it ever since. Along the way, I’ve worn many hats. I’ve worked as a computer consultant and programmer, a music teacher, a bus driver, a trainer, and even a mechanic—picking up skills and stories at every stop. These days, I’m playing the blues.
Classic cars and motorcycles were always a big part of my life. ✌️
